I feel sorry for you, too, and for my father’s love for his life. I don’t think he ever remarried. It’s hard to imagine how hard it must have been for a young man alone to raise his daughter pretty for 13 years, as well as for a woman. I can see how good your father was in the writing. My dad’s wife’s seat is empty, and I had to leave my little girl alone to work. There have probably been so many times when you couldn’t even express it. But you must have endured for only one daughter. I’m so sorry and proud for the writer who would have grown up without her mother, but be a good son to your dad.
